Ok so i had to cancell my account the day before DoN came out due to Military, reactivatd it last week (wheeeeee)

So, i am trying to make Leatherfoot Haversacks in an Old Vale Sewing Kit which according to the Recipies site it should work. Getting DNC message when i try to combine.
Looked at the Smithing side and there seems to be no difference in the recipie for the *NEW* Vale Sewing kit. Made one and still getting DNC...

What am i missing?

By the way this is combining 3 Tufts of Dire Wolf Fur and an Embriodery Needle to make a Patch of Dire Wolf Fur

All of the cultural containers made prior to DoN have been rendered useless (other than as just a bag/container). You will need to make (or buy) a new vale sewing kit. Once you have a new one, everything should work just fine.

Yup, was kinda annoying, but just go ahead and make a new one. You might be able to turn it into a token and back into a new one, though I can't remember.

Unfortunately that doesn't work (I tried it). Apparently the original cultural container is xxx01 and the new one is xxx02. The token lady just hands you the token for xxx01 and doesn't upgrade you. sigh.

I think it was more because they also changed the cultural kits. Now you can do all your combines in the cultural kits, barring any of them requiring Giant items. Though the originally did have giant slots, last I looked they seemed to have been changed to Large slots.
