I definitely will pay a higher price for larger quantities of an item, within my general guidelines. For example, it takes 36 dire wolf tufts to make a haversack, barring failures. I'm not gonna run around and around the bazaar to save five plat on each tuft. I go to whoever has a few hundred of them to sell, as long as the price isn't over the max I'm willing to pay.
