Do they have them in game? if so how do you make them?

Embroidering Needle + Fetid Essence makes a Bile Spine or Bile Spike. Im not sure if thats it, but worth a try.

I found it. you were close but the bile spike is for trolls. the one for ogres is the blood spike. Spiteful essence embroidering needle.

How do you get a quest to start GM cultural ogre tailoring?

As nare as i can tell you have to be lvl 70 to get that quest. I was only able to get to expert because i am lvl 52 at teh moment. it wouldnt even give me the quest for chardok wich i find kind of irritating.

Each race has 5 quested books.

The first is for the Ancestral Armor book, which is generally a simple "Collect 1 of each of these 4 items and return them to me" quest.

The other 4 are for the different level of aug books, journeyman through grandmaster.

You can do the armor book quest (though you might need to have someone higher level than you do the kill, with you looting; I don't see any group of level 20's killing Bloodgills for that piece of teh iksar armor book) once you're given the quest; if your skills are high enough and you have the materials you can then make the grandmaster's armor.

However, the tasks for the aug books are level restricted. At level 53 you cannot use the Master's armor or augs, so there is no point in having you get the Master's aug book. You can still make the Master's armor, by using the right drop combined with your cultural metal/spool, you cannot make nor use the Master's augs.

Can the book be used for either tailoring or smithing? Or is the tailoring quest different than the smithing quest?
