Essence of Discord

Looking for some info on whats dropping these. The few guildmates i have gotten them from say it was in Anguished they found them. Anyone found them anywhere else?

If that is true, it is a little unfair to leather wearers that the item needed to upgrade their armor comes from the only keyed zone in the expansion.

PG = plate
Riftseekers = leather, chain
anguish = silk duh

Gelidran Ice is the item used to power Feran armor (leather class)...Rarely ever see it for sale in bazaar on my server tho. Not sure where it drops, believe Riftseekers tho.

I got one of these from Blind in MPG,
skill is to low to use it atm... so i banked it

Is Blind a Discordling model mob? Never actually seen him (assuming you mean the blind hunter)

Bruur improperly used an abbreviation for a not-universally-known named mob, Blind Hunter Rekamu.

Id imagine they are random-rare drops, meaning they can drop from any mob in the zone, albiet rarely (possibly microscopically less rare on higher level mobs (i.e.: named).

p.s. ALL kyv are 'blind hunters' as theyre eyes are removed so they can hunt better. Ever get a Blood Soaked Bag of Eyeballs?

its probably a matter of people choosing certain camps over others.

I have killed the named Taskfiend in MPG many times, and was quite surprised the other night when twice in a row he dropped an essence of discord.

Good to know. I gotta farm him anyway for the lifetap aug, this makes it more pleasant to know that there's a chance he'll drop some much-needed tailoring supplies also.

I have killed the named Taskfiend in MPG many times, and was quite surprised the other night when twice in a row he dropped an essence of discord.

I wouldn't be surprised that those things come from discordling taskfiends type MoBs. Alas, there arn't that many in MPG.

Maybe it's discordling mobs in either RSS or MPG?

Either way, I need at least eight of these essence of discord. I want to make Robe of Strife & Leggings of Strife!

I ended up picking one of these up off of Taskfiend Caikap in MPG. I have yet to see any of the lightning guys ever drop the lightning cores.

Really kind of irritating how rare tradeskill drops keep getting. I use to think PoP was bad until I started looking into doing OoW tailoring lol.
