What zone have you all found to be the best for farming acrylia? I am aware of the laborer in Tenebrous Mountains, and that camp nets good farming cash. I have also farmed in Grimling Forest and Acrylia Caverns... and cannot yet tell which drop rate seems to be the best. Based on your experiences which zone yielded the best drop rate?

Ok, I have done that zone. So since you are a fellow druid, may I ask which method you found best for killing them. I have been porcupining them with some dots, and that goes alright, and I don't really have much downtime, but however it seems I can't kill them fast enough. you root/rot? porcupine? just curious.

I don't know about inside, but outside you sure can =) It takes a little bit of effort to get them all out of the tunnels (lots of casters), but when you do it's one heck of a boom.Sunburnt Dmize - 80 Druid - D-Ro

Since I needed Acrylia for Fletching, Smithing (found 100+ tempers on a vendor) and Tailoring. I have gotten Acrylia farming down to an art.
Normaly I do Inner AC (at 65 it was 2% aa per, no downtime, no waiting for pops) so I was farming my acrylia and getting exp at the same time. At 70, its still around 1% exp per for aa's. Inner I have found to have the best drop rates. AC is pretty much a dead zone for the most part on Nameless other then a few named camps. The other bonus of Inner ac, is you have 4 named in close range and can easily drop them all and pick up a few peices of twink gear/bazaar loot.
Tenebrous has the added benefit if your doing acrylia smithing for windstones/essence.
Any pet class can easily keep inner AC down, caster is going to need a partner since adds happen.

I got a lot when my guild raided The Deep on a regular basis.
Even if not raiding this zone has a good drop rate if you are across the bridge.
I always liked inner AC. It isn't the very best rate, but not bad. I got aa xp there from 66 to 69 (haven't gone back yet at 70) and made a little pp on the side with the drops from the names there. Outter is a little better rate (or maybe the same, just you can kill faster) Outter was fun , as I made some good friends who stumbled on farming there too.
For something else different Griegs End is fun and pp, also Akevia Ruins.
If you have an alt, Dawnshroud peaks is awesome too.
It all depends on your level. Anytime though, you will always come out with pp drops and Acyrlia when you farm it.
Also, if anyone asks you to hunt in lots Luclin zones you will see it.
Dont pass up the chance to hunt in Fungus grove, Umbral Plains, etc.Last edited by Eggborn; 10-27-2004, 12:28 PM.Eggborn Hatchedrotten

You *can* ae in AC, its just theres the occasional mob that immune to stuns. If you have any sort of melee class in your group, have em beat on that while the rest of the group stuns and nukes.
I dont remember the name of the mob, but it shouldnt be hard to figure out and your melee-er can make a /target name_of_unstunnable_mob hotkey to grab it out of the mess of mobs.

That's so wrong, but oh so right.
Of course, best Acrylia farming was a few years back when there was that crazy spawn in Grimling with about 100 of them stuck on top of each other, aoe teams were cleaning up. In fact regular aoe teams were cleaning up in old AC as well.
