I've been looking on this message base and allahkazam, I have no idea what this is used for? any clue? Bazaar is selling it for 1-2kpp and the sellers have no clue whats it for.

I think you'll find it fairly common place for people in the bazaar to sell useless items for downright stupid prices. They don't know what it's for, but they're hoping someone does and will lay out the plat for it.

No known use atm, but that can always change.

I fought in Blood Fields for about 2 hours yesterday and had 3 of these drop. Can't be very valuable considering thrie high drop rate.

Generally, my contention has been this for OOW drops:

See what a vendor offers you for it.

If it sells for 1c, it may be for a quest. Store it on a mule for a few months.
If it sells from between 2c and 5-15p and it seems like it *might* be for tradeskills (skin, blood, meat etc), it may be for tradeskills. Save it. (Unless its some weird part like a Noc Eye from Draniks Scar, lots of trash cash loot sells for 6p or so from DS.)
If it sells for more than 15p, its probably cash loot. Sell it.

Browsing through the threads this morning and see this post, where it seems no one knows what these shimmering ukun hides are for. Scroll down a few threads to BST epic something or other and you'll see they are used for part of that epic.
