  • Question on PoP Elemental Silk Tailoring

Hi, I'm at about 206 with 215 in a Geerlok, hopefully soon to be raising..

I was wondering, based on my decent chance of success in the 180's-200's on Acrylia Reinforced which trivs at 242, would I then have a good chance at making Earthweave gloves/boots and other smaller pieces?

It seems the pantaloons and robe have a very high trivial, is this for all pieces? Or are the boots/gloves etc. easier to make than the robes?

I would say no, that your success rate would probably be very limited.

As far as I can recall, they are all the same triv, like 305ish, 335ish regardless of piece.

I have about a 40-60% success rate at 250 raw skill

but never know til you try

Bummer, is that the same for Nightmare and Storm stuff too?

You can check all the trivials on the recipes trivial list.

I would never attempt a combine on an item that is that far above my skill level unless
1> I had a lot and was skilling up
2> I was at max skill already
        3> I wasn't that concerned about success/failure

At 215 tailoring, you should have around a 15% chance for success on 335 trivial items. All earthweave is 335.

Nightmare trivials at either 295 or 305, and is a lot easier to make (and a lot less costly to fail on), so if you have a bit of plat you don't mind wasting, you might give that a try. At 252, i've succeded at 9 of the last 10 nightmare silks i've attempted... your mileage will vary a bit.

Storms... i haven't made any that i remeber sicne the new ui.. so i can't give yah any idea there.

You can't even attempt a combine with such a low skill anyway, you need a minimum skill of 220 to attempt any finished PoP product (doesn't include subcombines)

Um, no. You only need modified 220 skill to do ethereal components for ornate/elemental armor.
