  • Tailoring kits

I have seen the information somewhere before but I can't find it again. I did a search on it and a no go. I even looked on the FAQ for tailoring kits, still didn't have the answer I needed.

Right now I have a Vale sewing kit and normal sewing kit, my question is what kinds of tailored items can be made in what?

I know you can't make velious armors unless in a Coldain's Tanners Kit. But can you make all normal items in the Coldain's?

Can only PoP items be made in the Planar Kit?

I am basically asking what is the least amount of kits I can have and still make everything?

    I'm trying to condense.

Coldain Kits will do normal combines, IIRC. ( edited to avoid looking stupid)

    Planar kits Will. Again, IIRC.

Vale Sewing Kits will NOT do normal combines.

So, If you are done with Wus, you need 3. Planar, Coldain, And Vale.

Of course, with my PHAT skill of 151, I Know nothing from firsthand. Except the cute little vale kit I smithed myself was DNC for padding.

Coldain kits will do regular combines and velious combines.

Planar kits will do regular combines, planar combines and people report that SOME velious combines work.

            For skill ups:

            Coldain, Vale

            For making armor:

Coldain, Vale, Planar, Deluxe (or know where a loom is)

Sometimes you just need 10 slots....

I guess that's what I'm asking, can't you just use the Coldain, Planar to make the armor you would make in the deluxe or loom?

No, looms and deluxe kits are 10 slotters, coldain is 8. Not MANY recipes require 9 slots, but there are a few, perhaps only the one, come to think of it: Wu's Gi.
