Ya'll wanted hard data and I resisted (statisticians shouldn't have to collect data on their down time). After a run of 130 attempts without a skill increase (not listed, since that is just an estimate), I kept track of combines from 230 to 250. In this message are the numbers of attempts to get each skill level. I'll reply to the message with raw data, for anyone who is interested.
Wisdom 255, used a 5% tradeskill modifier for all combines.
