I've got the hynid hair strands to make the thread, the muramite residue to make the needle...no flayed flesh scraps though but do I even need to find them?

What's the sewn flesh parchment even used for (besides skillups)?

The scraps are no drop ground spawns in Kod`taz in the destroyed temple area. The final combine is no fail and it is one of the tasks given by Kevren for Kod`taz progression and the Breakdown quest.

Thanks for the tip! Searches of EQtraders and Allakhazam's did not yield this info but I just happen to be one mountain trial away from finishing my trials. Kod'taz is next zone after that, no?

Perhaps a note about the purpose could be added to the item?

I too was wondering about it but assumed it was an undiscovered recipe.
