Plains roots are foraged in west commons, not the karanas. They drop very very very rarely off scythe beetles I believe (its only one beetle type) in North Karana.

jagged pine really sucks for foraging the type B componants. i have been killing cave baskils(yes i know they dont drop plant shoots) and i have get aobut half a stack with a 180 foraging skill in about 2 or 3 hrs. i have yet to try killing the mobs that drop shoots seeing as how i couldnt solo them or group with a 65 bot but now that i can im going to see if the droprate is better then in steamfont, which is the best ive found so far cause those druid ae spells are nice the lesser earthquake can take out all of the kobalt camps in 1 cast

I also like Lavastorm for Ashen Dye. There is a small forage table there and I can get about 40 in one night. Also get tons of veggies for baking.
