1. You can do strand of ethereal energy combines as soon as your modified skill is 220, that's at 192. These are on merchants everywhere very cheap. Those won't trivial until 212, so you'll be able to cruise from 192 to 212.
2. You'll get max effective tailoring skill of 252 at 220, you won't need to skill-up past that unless you want to.
So the only hard skill-ups you need will be 173-192 and 212-220. White ribbons are a good choice to 182, I'd recommend superb/flawless rockhopper armors to 192, and for 212-220 do your favorite velious/cultural/solstice robe path.
Ethereal Silk Swatches will be good once you get your true skill up to 192 (effective skill 220) - I'd suggest doing ribbons/acrylia studded to 187 and then whatever you can get your hands on until 192.

i have Shear i did the ribbons til 187 then some Solstice til 192 + 15% = 220 then i did ethereal silk swatch til 212 then more soltice til 220 which bring my skill to 252 i have smither hammer too i did same steps with EVB and ethereal sheet metal
