Hell Levels

Yes, high 190's are hell levels for many tradeskills, it seems.

For me, I went through 207 combines at 198 before going to 199. Then in next 25 combines, I got 3 skillups. Since then, I've averaged 1 skillup per 19 or 20 so combines.

Keep at it. Dont' give up. I know I almost did.

Well apparently the 190's are going to be really hell for me or the RNG hates me right now.

190-95 combines
191-102 combines
192-95 combines and still trying....

Does it get better after 200?

P.S. This was with an average skill up rate of 1 skill per 20 combines prior to hitting 190. I have had only one success in all of those combines too

Strange that this is happening to you. I went from 188 to 194, with 108 Acrylia Reinforced attempts, with a Wis of 243. What is your Wis? I can attest to the fact that a Higher Wis WILL inprove your skillup rate.

I wouldn't do the mid 50's trying to skill up with cured silk when you can make a lower trivial item like the bags which gave me good skillups

My wis is 255 on all combines. I even have my greerlock equipped since it has usually been my experience that more successes equals more skills ups. I am still only level 60 and refuse to level just to increase my wis for my tradeskill fix. Going to do another 30 or so combines tonight, hoping that it will get me to 193.

Fortunately the RNG smiled upon me and i got 7 skill ups in 86 combines this weekend =) at 199 now, about 30 combines into it. I guess there are always a couple of hell level points everyone winds up just having to push through. It sure will be satisfying to reach 201 though.

Good luck to others in that point of skilling. I know i might reach it again but sure feels good when you get a good streak going =)
