I have been away from doing tradeskills while working on some AA's on my char. I have been watching item prices in the bazaar and am curious as to why misty acorns are now going for 300-500pp each? Is there a new recipe out there, did fungus escape from runnyeye and kill all the trees that make them? They have never been real easy to find but before now the high end price seemed to be around 100pp. Heck I bout a stack of BD's last week for 250 each! No way am I gonna pay 500! Does anyone have any ideas what may be going on?

Bags certainly, plus Halfling Cultural also requires the acorns, there just is not as much of a market for the cultural as there is for the bags.
Acorns are the rare forage and a pain on the eyes / time to find. I used to pay decent money for them, sometimes I'd get lucky and get them for 5pp, others I'd have to pay a couple hundred for, but it all averaged out to something reasonable.
The true answer however is, people have fat bank rolls and are willing to pay for supplies they want or need, and as long as people pay 500pp per acorn, they will continue to be sold for that. I for one had no problem making a couple hundred pp less on a bag (by supply cost / not slashing my sell price) than maybe the 1-30 I had sold before it.
I made good money selling in bulk, and sometimes I had to pay more than I wanted for a supply to fill the order when I didn't have enough of X supply for it. But, it was pennies to the profit and was acceptable to me.Sunburnt Dmize - 80 Druid - D-Ro
