1- Chen was joking... it was obvious to some of us. And if you don't think she contributes to the community you haven't been reading this board very long.

2- Class bashing is just going to get this thread locked... let's not do it m'kay?

3- The downside to things like this getting too widely known is what I saw last night... gouger_001 shouts "new easy way to skill up tailoring, now selling Muramite Residue, 500pp" and now we're right back where we were before.

Well throughout Everquests history the druid class has been notorious for causing some of the worst nerfs in the game. The class in general has a bad reputation from as far back as Beta 2.0.

Chenier's comment hit a deep seeded nerve in some of us as "Just another druid acting like a dr00id". I am not the only person posting who thought the comment was out of line. A person was trying to post a heads up to the members of the community that might not have known about the residues. Very selfish comment to make, telling people to hide valuable information.

There is a distinct difference between a Druid and a dr00id.

Seems to me we have too many people that aren't familiar with the community here jumping to conclusions and instantly saying "Bad Dr00id" to Chenier when all she did was joke. Get over the stereotyping and realize it's not a class that causes problems, but the player.

What amazes me, is he made the snide comment AFTER Chenier had made clear it was a joke. It was clear it was a joke to most people, after someone takes it the wrong way, she says basically, "hey, it was a joke, don't take everything so literally" and yet it still isn't crystal clear she was joking.

Chenier has always been helpful on the boards, and been on these boards a long time. I still remember meeting her in game for the first time and realizing she was on my server, she's a good player btw from what I've seen as well as a nice person =)
