  • AUGHHH! where do you find aged muramite scales?

For the love of pete I can not find these things. What do they drop off. I'm about to go postal.
There's no problem that a lot of fire can't fix.

Kod is the zone that is opened after you do trials 1-6.

They aren't worth it, in my opinion.

Scales can be bought for cheap. Hynid Manes are almost given away (last run through the Bazaar I paid 10 pp max for them). The resulting 12/18 whip has NO LEVEL LIMITS. That might be changed, but a 12/18 weapon with no level limits is still pretty slick. I make a fair bit of money off them. What, to me, isn't worth it is the bags. I have yet to see a Hynid Blood for less than 500 pp each in The Bazaar, and the recipes usually call for multiple bloods.

EQ Traders seems a lil devoid of information on where drops are for the GoD stuff.

Does anyone know what (tailoring) drops can be found from Natimbi and Barindu and off what mobs? Any info on the camps in either of these zones?

All of the 'raw' TS supplies for GoD drop off any mob in any GoD zone. When I say 'raw' I mean nihilite, muramite etched scales, etc. The higher end raw supplies drop in Kod and higher.

There are two types of material for each of the "quest" components. What I mean by this, is for example muramite scales; in order to refine them yourself, you must do a quest to learn the combine, and there are two types: aged and normal.

This goes for all of the "quest" materials, to my knowledge. All of the "normal" materials drop in natimbi through tipt, while all of the "aged, ancient, mountain, shimmering, blah blah blah" materials drop in kod`taz and up. It may be noteworthy that in kod`taz you still FORAGE normal tea leaves, and you must obtain the mountain tea leaves from drops.

As for specific mobs, every mob (to my knowledge) drops ore, nihilite, tea leaves, taelosian stone, and sludge, while muramite soldiers drop muramite scales and blood, and the golems drop pieces of clay worker. Hynids drop their manes and blood, and, in kod`taz, hair strands. This holds true in Kod`taz, except that the materials become their 2nd tier, IE muramite soldiers will drop aged muramite scales.

What this means, is that basically those nice 12/18 twink whips will require a group flagged for kod`taz to make. (I can solo kod`taz entrance, but due to warping NPCs and innate spells, plus the time consumed with each NPC, it's a very unrealistic rate.)

                        Hope this helps.

I finally found GoD , and made two of the 12/18 whips after buying parts cheap. A 35 WAR and 52 RNG both loved the weapon, even if it does look like a gnoll hide lariat.

My question is, how would you price these for sale? Assuming I can make more (i.e. find parts), is this better than a Fleshgrinder? a Copper Hammer? Curved Claws? I know servers vary, but on E'Ci, Fleshgrinder goes for 15k, Copper for 10k, Claws for 8k, and Wurmmy for 1k, for instance.

My PC's in bazaar have yielded from 5k-25k for value of this rare (so far) whip. Seen none for sale (yet).

Thanks in advance for any pricing advice. btw, the Velium Gemmed/smithed GoD weapons with a recommended level of 65 go for 20-30k.
