Actually I just had a decent run as well.

110 combines of a mix of Arctic wyvern hide masks and cultural robes got me from 195-204.

Wonder if they took some of the hell out of tailoring?

did 290 combines on solstice robes a few days ago, went from 219-221 skill... and made like 80 robes.

871 combines 191-220. 50something successes. Total cost was at least 250k buying everything except Cel Essences which I made and Imbued Emeralds (Bought the emeralds and had friends imbue). I also have 250 JC and made the chains myself.

Today I finally hit 220 and the only thing I can say is "OMFG I HATE TAILORING", but...it's the last skill I had below 220...look out Grimmil here I come.

Both my husband and myself have seen decent skillups on tailoring the last couple of months using Arctic Wyrven hides.

I've already posted my horrible run on Solstice robes (i.e. making too many chains) which is why I turned to the A.W. hides which gave me MUCH better success (about 25:1).

He ended with 5 attempts per skillup over the course of about 11 skillups over 2 different days, then started back in on the 20:1 ratio.
