Is there a place to farm hq bearskin, a place like EK is for HQ cat pelts and spider silk?

Nedaria's Landing is supposed to have only quality drops from the bears. Might be a good place to check.

HQ rockhopper pelts are FAR easier to get to make backpacks from.

To be more specific, there is a small cave system in Nedaria's Landing with static bear spawns. It's a little northeast of the Wayfarer camp, across the river.

Actually there are bears all over Nedaria's, and they all seem to drop HQ as often as they drop anything else. It's the only zone I've encountered where HQ does not appear to be a relatively rare drop.

Also, even low green con mammals in this zone will aggro you, so if you get in the right place, you can gather a lot of bears in a short time. You will also aggro a lot of cats and wolves, but you can always find something to do with those pelts.
