The explosive bola recipe as listed on the site yields a DNC.... any info?

Try using 2 hides maybe? The Stun Bola uses two hides as well as most other Bolas.

tried two hides... got same message "You cannot combine in this container type" ... used collapsed and loom in Abysmal.

Are you sure that you're using the level 1 potion?

Yep, level one potion. Tried it again this morning after patch and it still doesn't work.

The recipe on the site has been fixed to ask for 2 HQ hides, and 2 stone bola weights. I'm not sure yet what else is askew with it, if anything, as it's been difficult for me to get everything needed for testing it on my home server.

Niami, I believe a certain cleric we both know made one, I'll try bugging her ingame for what she did if she doesn't see this and post. Otherwise, I'll fiddle around with the hides and stuff I have or toss them your way for testing.

I just combined a concussive bola, I know the only difference is the potion. You need:

2 HQ ra'tuk brute hides
2 stone bola weights
1 ceramic bola weight
1 potion (level 1, explosive and concussive are the only 2 that work I think, ensnaring does NOT at this time)
1 bola pattern
