  • Spiderling Silk Drop Rate Nerfed (again)

Recently after some time away from tradeskilling i decided to head back to the Feerrot and do some farming of spiderling silks. Well to my suprise the little devils drop less now than they ever have, used to be able to farm 4 stacks and hour, now after 1 hour i have . . .11 yes 11 silks. Well anybody have any oppinions or can anybody confirm this.

I've seen the same thing. However, the spiderlings probably still drop as many items total as they always did. The difference is instead of spiderling silks, they drop junk for the newbie armor quests instead. If you add up the number of black spider silks, and pristine spider silks, they will probably account for the drop in regular spiderling silks.

      Am I mistaken or:

Can you use silk thread with rockhopper hides but not shade silk threads with wolf/cat/bear hides?

If so, it means that you're going to be seeing a lot of hoppers in your future...

I’m hearing about nerf drops very just about every area of trade skills, MOB drops to quest items. I’m starting to think that this was some developer(s) issue whether by accident or intentional something appears to have been effected.

Pardon me, but why don't we just start this discussion over, if we need to, without comments about the developers. If you have problems with the developers, find another forum, not this one.
