Vendor Trolling

I would like to start a thread on where folks have discovered vendors that typically have tailoring components on them that have been sold by players thinking it was either trash or else wanted the quick cash.

My example would be the vendor in LOIO typically has at least one or two excellent sabretooth hides on him if you dig deep enough.

However, I am starting tailoring all over again with an alt and I'm having a hard time remembering where I got low, medium, and high quality pelts from before! So, I thought it would be nice to have a thread like this where people could respond with any vendor names that they know usually have tailoring supplies of ANY sort on them from PCs selling.

One of the best places I have found so far for a wide variety of pelts of various qualities, was a bandit camp in Jaggedpine forest. The camp itself is actually decent exp for a 50-ish level character, and an extremely easy farm for a decently equipped level 65. Good luck

P.S I know its not a vendor, but I still got tons of pelts there, more than any NPC vendor could sell me

With the addition of Luclin, PoP, and LDoN it's probably alot harder to find a Vendor with ALOT of hides. You may still find some variety of hides in EK due to the large number of Cats. You may also want to try the merchants where people go to fight the Rockhoppers and Greyhoppers in Luclin. Seems there are alot of comments from other threads that suggest alot of low, medium and high quality rockhopper hides dropping in some zones so you may find a good amount in these zones.

At the windmill in Guth you will find that the venders have an steady suply of research componets that can be used to make robes. I stop by and check them every 2-3 days.

Let's see, there's a windmill in Steamfont (2 actually), a windmill in PoT (zone in for PoInnovation), and a windmill in LOIO......

I have a mule parked at the othmirs (due to my own faction being trashed). I've pulled several stacks of wyvern and drake hides, as well as a few othmir furs and cobalt cod off them. Now my question is why you would sell cod. The only reason to really fish in CS is to get them, people don't normally sit around fishing for entertainment. Guess it will just remain a mystery Also the vendors in dawnshroud sometimes have acrylia and various rockhopper pelts, usually people are bright enough not to sell the best ones but I've picked up quite a few low and med quality for leather padding.

i was given a backpack of forages from velious and needed dragon bay snapper for oil for bloogy shellcrackerrs seaside salad. i didn't sell the cod though lol.
