I want to farm/forage seahorse roe in Erud's Crossing with my 26 bard alt, but I'm wondering how effective this would be. Do I need 100 skill with a foraging machette, or will they drop at any forage skill (just a lower rates)?

Seahorse roe also drops of the kerra spiders and snakes on the island, so my bard will simple kill them front, left and center, with a forage macro attached to LEFT/RIGHT. (Note: this drop info does not seem to be in the current DB, I'm awaiting the final results of the recovery operation before I (re)post it.)

Now to farm vendors and bazaar for more runes of inverse and salil's 64R... I want to try the Eru robes for skill ups...

bards have a notoriously low yeild rate on foraging rares, which may be discouraging, but in conjunction with killing everything, you should get some. Mind you, neither killing nor foraging yeilds a lot of these quickly.. so be patient.

You can get a rare forage at any foraging skill... my woodelf rogue managed to get a ripened heartfruit on his very first attempt to forage anything (racial skill fixed at 50). The higher the skill, however, the more likely you'll get SOMETHING (you always get something at 200) -- and the more chances of getting something off the forage table = the more chances you have of getting what you're after.

Seahorse Roe also drops off the Seahorses. My suggestion is to simply kill everything around the pit in Erud's Crossing, because the more you kill, the more spiders and snakes you are going to kill.

Additionally, if you are on Druzzil, you will be competing with me for research components, because I GOBBLE them up

Never seen a Seahorse in Erud's Crossing, did manage to F8 a piranha once, in the south-west corner of the ocean, dropped a piranha fish too

Or do you mean ANY sea horse, like the ones from Kedge or SG?

.. That island is too small for a bard with Selo's Drums of the March...

Seahorses

Regular Seahorses. Yes, like the ones in Kedge. If you track with your bard, you should be able to track them. Or, if I misunderstood, and you are not a bard and cannot track, simply circle the island by swimming in the ocean just a little off the coast of the island; I believe there are two sets of Seahorses, which spawn very quickly.

Also, you will notice that often times spiders and other creatures get stuck underneath the island in Erud's crossing. To kill them, simply use a aoe spell at different locations near the bottom of the pit on the island.

the main sight doesn't have info on what drops it. kill the seahorsers in the ocean right? does it drop off spiders and stuff too? anything in zone? why do you keep mentioning the pit?

If you will read Seedling's original post, the Roe drops off of kerra spiders and snakes, in addition to the seahorses.

As for the rest of your questions, you will simply have to go to Erud's crossing to figure it out. What I am referring to as a pit is a volcanic looking structure in the center of the main island.

In my previous post I was suggesting you will see more spiders and snakes if you kill everything on the loot table, in addition to the spiders and snakes. Each time you kill a mob, the mob you just killed will be replaced by another and possibly a different mob.

If you can't figure it out from given this additionaly information I have provided your, there isn't any other way I, or anyone else can likely help you.
