I seldom am set up in the bazaar also, usually once a week is about it... and almost never use the servers /auction channel.

I do however, check other vendors that carry items i normally do, and check to see if anyone new happens to be stocked with what i make. I dont' tend to sell components, as my tradeskill mule gets really lonely if i don't have to spend an hour a week combining, twisting, cramming, things together to fit something else on him.

Generally if i get components that i don't need, someone else in guild can use... just the way it is.

There are a lot of things you can make plat on... wether you're targetting the end user, or the producers... you just have to know what people are wanting at the time.

Yeh, mtp's are misty thicket pic a nics, BooBoo. Given my rangers propencity of snaring or rooting himself, you now have to watch out for the parked ranger...

      /sigh... i had to..

its been almost a year since, but i have made at least 400k just off qeynos tea/grobbs/kaladims. i know thats not much to some people, but it was a tremendous help, and way to get started.

It was my first tradeskill i mastered, and then lead up to all my others being able to be mastered, while i also got to upgrade my gear.

as for smithing and tailoring i make ethereal sheets, and for tailoring ethereal silk swatched/cured ethereal energy.

JC i also made some money, i dont use it at all now, but things like earring of the tempest, and iron amulets of unseen horrors made me some nice cash. although since the flags became open, nightmare mephet blood, and bricks of electrified copper are rare in the bazaar, so they are more expensive, yet the prices on those JC items have dropped.

Artisans seals are also a good JC/pottery seller, if you have the cash to make them in the first place.

i never did anything with baking, i just got it to 250 purely to get it there, i didnt, and still dont enjoy it at all, i enjoy brewing a lot more.

although id like to put a disclamer, if you sell purely to make money, and do it often, dont be a pricewar ass and war by 1pp on everything. people do notice.

If I see someone selling an item for 15,000pp and someone else selling it for 14,999pp, I purposely buy it from the guy at 15k.
