I've gotten a few in WW along with various eggs which is what I was actually after at the time. My, at the time, 23 druid only got eaten by a dragon once during that forage fest.

I think over the course of about an hour with forage in the low 100s I got 4 tufts, and an assortment of about 10 eggs of various types. I was standing on the shorline practicing fishing and tracking at the same time. Got a fair number of skillups in all the skills in question.

      Make a button as follows:

      Line 1: /doability ( whatever your forage is )
      Line 2: /pause 5
      Line 3: /autoequip

Then open your options, keyboard, drop down menu Macros and assign a movement key like right arrow to the hotkey you just set up.

I am at work right now but I will double check everything when I get home tonight. In no time your bags will be overflowing with stuff and you won't even notice you are foraging while running / looking around.

I believe the command is /autoinventory, not /autoequip

It is only an Exploit and against the EULA IF you are not at or near the keyboard while running the Macro.

Macros are goddess sents to those of use running several accounts at once (I personally use the built in hotkeys). The ability to send a group tell /g I need a heal and have a cleric, druid shammy or what ever shoot you a heal would be great.

I have thought about buying some one or more of these programs myself however I would never use it to make a forrage bot that would forrage while I was away from Keyboard.

These are two different types of macros. The ones you describe that you use are really Hotbuttons and are a part of EQ. They are great to use and programmed by the EQ designers. They are legal.

Third party program macros are different. They require another program. The do not require being at the keyboard. They are still illegal even if you sit at the computer watching your macro run.

              Absolutely correct.

There is nothing illegal about doing it this way. It is just a hot key that you assign a movement key to. You do need to be moving around for it to work. I don't know about you all but I can't sit still even in the game so it works great for me.

Comes in very handy in the LDoN zones as well since I always forget to forage there. I don't know why, I used to be a forage-aholic

If you have a druid/ranger in their 30s, theres actually a place to hunt in the back of Thurgadin. Spiders, goos and bats. Just hunt there to level up, forage lots of tufts, and never have to leave the zone.

Youll also probably be able to get heals/buffs from people waiting around for Nimrod to show back up again. =)

Yes I have foraged them in GD, No they are not as frequent as in thurg. No all of thurg is not as plentiful.

Stand in the bank, I like the table in the middle of the room. With 200 forage I found that there seemed to be some sort of cycle. A lot of shellfish and about one in five forages is a tuft.

                  I havn't used a machette yet.

I didn't gather them in a day, but over about 3 days I gathered about one hundred. some, with a friends help. We just sat in the bank and BS'd.

                    baz farming

The people who get hundreds of them at a time most likely are not foraging them but instead farming the baz for them. They'll watch the baz for someone selling them at a lower price then buy up all that everyone has and turn around and sell them for more.

When I was in my 30's and playing in DSP alot I used to sell all the acrylia I found in baz for about 5pp less than a girl who always had tonnes of it on her trader. Every night without fail she'd buy up all my acrylia then sell it at her higher price. Hehe it was a great way for a lil newb druid to make what seemed then like alot of pp at the time.
