Last night I actually had some good luck with the RNG!!!
After my last run of Solstice Robes a week ago, I finished with 214 skill with the skill up on the very last combine. Well last night I had enough for one Holgresh Fur Cap combine....did it, succeeded and got 215. Then about an hour later, a friend asked me to combine 3 Leatherfoot Haversacks for him...first attempt, success and skill up to 216....second attempt, success....third attempt, success and skill up to 217!! With this kind of luck, I decided to click furiously through the Haversack components I had gathered myself, coming up with another 3 Haversack attempts....succeeded on al three!! WOOT!!!
Now standing at 217 in tailoring, getting, slowly but surely. I estimate about another 100k 'till I'm at max modified skill, then maybe another 25-50k to actually GM. I'm so happy at the moment! Just wanted to share.
