Total money spent (very approx) for the sole purpose of skilling up was approximately 550 K total. Total sales to date of made items 121K with about 29K still to sell....i MOSTLY made items i could sell, but about 200 combines were throwaways with zero to merchant buy back value. Net cost to me will be approx 400K.

Total skill up rate is 1560/63 = 24.76 attempts per skill up. From what i've read, this is about 5 higher than most, you'll notice of course that at skill 208 when my "free SS" attempts were getting close if got 125 and 29 before 210 for the freebies. Also notice that i needed 106 combines for 249 and 250. Those alone should convince anyone that the rng hates me in particular /wink.

Anyway, this is my first post on these boards, would like to thank everyone for information they have provided which allowed me to get this skill up within a few months.

First off, I would like to say how data is very valuable. Give's other Tailors somewhat of a comprehension of how many Furs/Tempers/plat etc. to skill up.

actaully i'd say from 191 to 203 the rng bent over for some hot loving. 12 skillups in 209 combines by my calculations. about 17 combine per skillup. looks like you had a fight around 196 though. anyway grats

He bought all that stuff, if you take the time to make all your velium tempers, farm all you velium ore, and farm all your wyvern hides and fish your cod oil it will be ALOT cheaper. It will also take alot longer.

It's alot cheaper to farm yeah, from 188-250 I beleive I spent just under 400k to max it myself. I bought all componants as well, including velium bonings.
