  • Detailed Skill Route plus Sub-Combines!

I'm spent the better half of this morning compiling all of this information. Included in this .doc file is a complete list of combines from 0-250... Including drop/forage info on LoY ribbons and all sub-combines used in skilling up. If there's anything wrong, missing, out of place, or there's a better way.. please please tell me, and I'll update/add to this file so all can see.

On a side note: I'm going to use this skillup route to grind from 0 to 250 on a halfling druid with 255 wisdom. I plan to log every single combine, and post statistics of my run afterwards.

    Tailoring.doc

Update: 9/7/03, Added 82-95 Greyhopper Hide Boots.
Update: 9/9/03, Added 82-118 Crystalline Silk Masks. Added Velious Recipes. Corrected Typos.

It looks pretty similar to the other guides on the site. The only things I can think of to mention offhand is the addition of the greyhopper boot route and the suggestion to skip silver ribbons altogether due to cost (unless you were looking at routes that did not involve a lot of farming).

Although you can't cross-post here, feel free to get some feedback here and try presenting an updated guide over in the tradeskill guide forum so I can add it to the sticky there.

Oh, I'm not trying to write the better guide. Just trying to put everything in the same place, for easy reference. I want a list of just stuff to skill up on, so that people won't have to weed through the other recipies, looking for where stuff is dropped, foraged, and fished. I will add the Greyhopper though.. I forgot completely about it. I only added the silver ribbons as an alternate route to 110+ to start Wu's, rather than doing Reinforced or Quivers. Thanks for the info though.

I will eventually add a page with the velious recipies as well.

it's missing crystalline silk, which i think is easier than wus for the 95-131 portion (did it before ribbons so not sure if silver ribbons would be better for that stretch or not).

other than that, looks pretty complete.

i think there is a typo for gold ribbon. you go gold ribbon a/b to platinum but keep gold ribbon in the ingredients list. i dont think thats right. /shrug

same issue with silver ribbons A/B - you list gold ribbons as the component needed from 82 -122
