It has been a long time since I paid attention to where runes and words drop. I looked on this web site and they said too many zones too list. I was wondering if I could get some advice as to where I would farm the following.

Words of Expertise
Words of Neglect
Rune of the Astral

I know I used to see tons of Runes of the Astral back in the days of Old Sebilis AE groups, but would be pretty hard to form on of those these days.

I am a Wizard with PoTime gear and am looking for the best drop rate zone to hopefully AE low level mobs in for those components above.

Neglect and Astral are old world mobs. As such, the drop off mobs of the approximate level og the spells they make.

Neglect is lower level, and is pretty easily found on vendors... i usually mine a stack or so in PoK a couple days after each downtime.

Astral is even more common. Vendors is an option with these too... as is seb, chardok.. pretty much anywhere there are blue to a 60 toon mobs... that happen to drop research components.

Bazaar is the best place, and now i bet i know where all the astral runes that were on the price fixer mules on Tholuxe went to (20 astral runes @85 pp apiece, joy). I haven't found any decent farming sources for the neglect,astral yet and the prawns for breath of ro, tohar15 are so ridiculously rare its not worth it. I think farming the cash for solstice robes is probably much easier.

I have well over 1000 steam dyes already so I will just keep doing these and looking for runes and words for now. Been working very well and its a easy combine that takes no time.

And yeah, I buy every rune or words from the Bazaar every time I check it regardless of price. Went from 150 tailoring to 198 in a day doing ribbons and robes.
