Just wondering where the Storm Volaas Hair drops... how rare is it? is it anything like Pure drop of Rain? Want to make Stormweave Pantaloons if its worth while... but if its as rare as the Pure Drops... forget it... faster to farm the cash and buy some legs...

Drops from Ocean Giants. As to the rarity or not, since not having had the patience to farm them, I have only seen 3 being sold on Povar.

It's definitely rare. I have killed probably 50 Ocean giants and got 1, yes "1", volass hair. Sometimes I see one or two drops when we're raiding the minis. All in all, 1 in 20 to 50 is my guess. And no one wants to kill Ocean giants for exp so you'll probably never see too many of them in Bazaar.
