  • Price of solstice robe components

Just wonder what is price of all components for one robe minus chain ? Just trying to figure out how much money im gonna need for lets say 200-600attempts lol (A lot i bet hah)

BTW its true that wis/int is not important once you reach 255 ? I mean cap is 255 or 305?

Coset about 50pp with decent CHA for teh emeralds and stuff, assuming you farm your own silks. The chain is the hard hitting part, costing near 350-400pp each

      Failures

Don't forget to include the cost failures!!!!

My chanter was successful approximately 75% of the time or less last night when I had him do 37 combines for me.

Last time, he was far more successful; rng just wasn't nice; oh well.

success on gem studded chains at 250+ geerlok is about 50%ish. And since jcm is broken right now it averages about 600 plat to MAKE a single gem studded chain

          JCM

What is this about JCM being broken?

Someone please explain, as I haven't heard anything about this.

Either they upped the failure rate or JCM really is broken.. I had roughly 80 chains made out of 160, by multiple 252 / JCM3 jewellers. Only one had better than a 50% success rate and that was only 11 out of 20.

              Thanks

Will hold off on asking for any combines from my jewelcrafting friends.

              JCM = AA correct?

                  Just Curious

If some are thinking this is truly a problem, has anyone sent a bug report or an e-mail to Sony Customer Service?

Just curious if others think this is true and if it has been reported.

                  Thanks,

It's absolutely false. Increase of wis/int beyond 255 contribute a lot to skill ups. The maximum cap, as far as I remember, is 355 with all AA points possible. I would say go as highest possible to cut down on time to skill up.

From what I've seen, both on the boards and in the game, there is absolutely NO difference between a 200+ attribute and a 305 attribute. There are people who are around 220 average that average 13 combines/skillup post 188 and people who have 305 that average 35 combines/skillup post 188.

On the other hand, I see a HUGE difference between 100 and 200 attribute, almost twice the skillup rate.

Try it yourself or don't... I'm pretty sure that this is a fallacy that a few people who got lots of stat boosts post PoP thought they were skilling up a lot more, but was probably just lucky. I wouldn't burn lots of cash buying gear to try and hit 305 though. I think that KEI makes a difference, but I could be wrong, since I know I have no firm numbers on that, just the numbers that I have between my wife (100 int or wis) and my BST (235 Wis), I have twice the skillup rate that she does, but I don't think I'll somehow get more than 58 skillups for 120 combines (66 - 124) by going to 305 Wis.

Umm, I asked a developer at San Francisco Fan Faire this specific question and he said that stats above 255 absolutely makes difference on skill up. Also, personally I have noticed that it makes a world of difference on stats above 255 vs. pre 255 on skill ups. I don't know where you are on skill level but if you are above 200 on any skills, you will notice a big difference between 255 wisdom and 320 wisdom. So this is not a fallacy but a proven and confirmed fact.

Can verify that JCM is definately broken. Day before last patch (the one before Ldon), success rate 80% with JCM 3 and max jewelry skill.
Day after patch 42 of 80 or 81 attempts (50%).

Unfortunately my combines were the day after patch .

                            I Believe

I believe people have been reporting that has been broken long before the last patch; and, if you take a look at the post that suggested this, it was long before the last patch as well.
