The wonderful thread explaining what components are needed to make what loy ribbons and the additional thread explaining what ribbons make what robes didn't make over to the new host. Of course you can find out this information from the main site, but having the post in here was nice as well.

Anyway, just wanted to state that I have had ribbons of various sorts on my trader now for approximately 2 months; haven't sold a one. I believe they are priced at 40pp/ribbon or perhaps even less. I am almost to the point of simply selling them to a vendor and getting what little money I can out of them.

The point of my thread is that if you think you are going to sell these after completing your combines, good luck, and think again.

To offer a contrasting view, I've had four stacks of ribbons up on my trader for about three months of play time. I started the price at 250pp, (as the dyes were selling for 100pp) but quickly dropped it to 150pp. Nothing sold. I kept dropping it until I finally hit 50pp each. Over the last two-three weeks, I finally sold two stacks of ribbons at that price.
