I ate my Iceclad Cutlas Fish

I used my Deluxe Sewing kit as a 10 slot holds giant back pack in the days that it let you combine stuff that did not combine and lost all my resist gear because I hit combine instead of done.
-I had to log off, I could not play for a while after that.

I used to sell Jewelery for money in EC before the Bazaar days, once or twice I hand over some nice velium jewelery with no stats because I forgot to enchant the metal, then had to find a port to GD so I could buy more velium to make real jewelery for the guy, no clicking around back then.

I would get into a routine of clicking/picking up stuff for many component combines before there was such a thing as DNC and went through bunches of stuff before I noticed the comment was you didn't produce anything usefull, not you have lacked the skills (think it was brewing)

Selling back to vendors I have sold my real equipment to the vendor. Sometimes it is just annoying, somethimes i have been broke and could not afford to buy out the vendors crap to make my item reapear. Sometimes I did not reallize I sold the needed item untill days later, thinking, where did I put such and such?

Scream steal armor really made me scream when I had to keep redoing the quest beacuse I closed the forge instead of a bag and lost the hammer and anvil.

Probably more, but that is as stupid as I need to look atm.

Last week I left my corker in the barrel and 2 hours later looked and it was gone.

I have to say .. overall I have been pretty careful when it comes to combines.

But one time when I was selling some velium weapons to a merchant, I rapidly went through and sold them all. Then .. when I went to go back to bag my steins and reequip my Bone Handled Scimitar .. well no more Scimitar .. luckily I had an extra on a sales mule. Still .. this was when they were going for 5k.

Fell asleep on the PC while fishing Storm Salmons (already had 2 and half stacks or so). Next Morning I had eaten them all and looked at an empty backpack =/

I almost bought ribbons with an alt. He is a wizard so can gate the SB, I zoned into gunthak and said wait they are no drop. I almost did this twice but realized it before i did it.

I did leave some lizard blood temper in a forge once, luckily I remembered and ran back and it was there 10 minutes later. The shields still sold for 30k at the time, would have been a serious blunder.

I gave packs with stuff to banker NPC

I combined valuable items in a container back in the days containers ate everything you gave them

I backed away from the forge with my vah shir anvil and humming mallet in it

I feel for all of you who have lost stuff like this and have had the familiar GM "blue screen".

I had a huge one a couple weeks ago. Went to delete an ogre alt I created to run around Kael for fun. Selected him, clicked delete and clicked the yes button when the "Are you sure you want to delete this charecter" warning came up. It appeared like nothing happened, he was still on my list of charecters so I clicked to delete him agian thinking iI must have hit the "no" button by mistake. Well I wasnt payin attention and didnt read the name in the warning and clicked yes again. Next thing I know I have 2 empty carechter slots. I ended up deleting the ogre and my spell mule with lots of spells and tradeskill supplies. Could've been much worse. At least I didnt delete my 2 mains, lol.

I was making some Black Acrylia Weapons by request for my guild when I discovered they were lore the hard way No biggie. I made a mental note and moved on. I also made myself a Battlehammer to work on 2hb with. A few days later I decided to make a few to sell in The bazaar, so I figured I would make 1 of each that had been popular in my guild. Naturally I figured if the battlehammer is good enough for me then maybe it would sell as well. DOH! Lore failure, Fortunaltely Skilling up to (249) on the combine took the sting out of it and I moved mine to my shared bank and then made another.
