4 CE's - 1-2pp each if you make them yourself, 5-20pp each if you buy them
True, if you're buying CE's it's not worth the cost since the temper is 26pp when purchased. But I figured I could make a temper for 6pp if I combined my own CE's - and in my earlier tailoring days, I did make my own. When I became more financially liquid, I bought tempers.
Another thought, so as to save on tempers: raptor hide tailoring. Takes a velium bone (hat takes one boning - so only one temper) and the tannin is drake egg, I wanna say, so set that forager up in the zone in of WW and forage away (and sell dragon eggs!).
Problem is, you'll be the only one farming the raptors; you're not going to find them on merchants or ooc to buy them off other folks in the zone and you'll be darn lucky to see them in the bazaar. But! the raptors are in a pretty small area in WL with not too many wandering baddies over there (corrupted panther, I wanna say, is over that way if I remember right).
