Hammer of the Ironfrost

Hello Fellow Smiths,

I was just wondering if anyone has noticed the lack of Hammer of the Ironfrost drops on your servers. I know that we raid XtC quite often and everytime, does not seem to have it. I think that the last time that it dropped was in April. I know that I am willing to spend a ton of my dkp for it, hehe.

Just was curious to see if we just kill the Hammer-less lizards.

Last time it dropped for us was 05/15/03 according to our loot system. Not that we kill him too often.

I heard that it dropped last week on tunare.

I think we've killed XTC 4 times with 3 hammers total.

He always seems to have it for us.

in close to 15 (give or take) kills he droped the hammer one time
i lost to a 250 smith ( lol where was the sense in that)

and i just found out that the darn gloves from vt are not leather/silk wearable ..... sigh so no 15% mods for me lol

I went on about a dozen XtC kills... about the very last time we killed him before moving on to VT, he dropped the hammer. I was lucky to be awarded the hammer, although I suppose the constant, "I hope XtC drops the smithing hammer!" before each XtC raid made it somewhat transparent how much I wanted the hammer. =) It was the first and only time in my EQ career that I got a bunch of tells wishing me luck on a loot before I had even put my name in.

I tried the same thing with the Mail of Judgement, but alas AHR never ever dropped it for us before we left VT for good. =(
