Tae ew Plate????

Do pristine scales drop killed plenty of tae ew havent seen them........Is there a spot in the zone where they drop or just rare as all get out.

They are rare as all get out. About as rare as the blood used to be, before the drop rate was significantly raised. From what I hear, they drop from brown lizards out at 4C Spot 2 on this map is 4C . What are brown lizards? You will know them when you see them: mostly level 60+, immune to mez or stuns, that sort of thing.

Basically drop rate is best (if this is best, what is bad?) from the lvl 60s. I have heard of one dropping from a green from someone on this forum.

Having hunted in CT off and on a fair number of times, as well as doing the gnome quest there, I can tell you that the Pristine scales are almost as rare as hens teeth. So far, I have seen exactly one drop.

I've spent a LOT of time in 4c, and saw either one or two drop. Like quite a few dozens of hours in a fast killing group of 65s.

Actually I think there has been a stealth patch on this one. I had not seen any of the "rare" drops in days of hunting CT. I had probably spent over 48 hours in the maze and 4c off and on in the past 2 months and never saw any chunks of cazite or pristine scales.

That was before this week-
I have obtained 2 of each in 3 hours One even dropped off a green So maybe I just got really really lucky, but I think the drop rates have been increased, that would just be too lucky.

Considering that ornate has become common as dirt and cheaper by the hour, an increased drop rate in tae ew tailoring/smithing items would be appropriate.

A lot of times you need an enchanter to camp 4c. Depends on your level.
