What drops the chips of granite in Earth

I have spent 2 days here killing everything from mudwalkers to mephits but no granite.. What drops it??? I am talking about the chips of granite from Earth. The things that when crushed down make the granite dust for the Earth temper. <--- is that enough explaination or is more needed?

The animated rock models. IE, they drop quite commonly during the Peregrin event.

Hard to say. Of all the planes PoE seems to be the most commonly hunted for exp groups of the 4 elemental planes. (PoFire has a descent hunting pop on my server but it's on the guards that don't drop tradeskill peices) This means you may actually see these making thier way to the bazaar. However I haven't seen much of them even on my server so it's hard to price them. Most groups i've been in have had at least 1 person looking for the drops to make some peice of tradeskill stuff from PoE.

Well one person was sellilng one for 10k.
30k to make one set of powdered granite is insane.

Same thing goes for metallic substance: 9-10k each? I dont think so.

Metallic Substance is insanely rare. Chips of Granite are not that rare, you can get almost half a stack on some nights if you do the Peregrin ring.

That is what I figured, since it seems that every part that you have to crush is a semi common item.

This person either doesn't exp there much, or just trying to screw people over.

They just replied to my complaint in ooc, "sucks to be you"....to which I replied, "It would only suck to be me if I paid 30k for granite".
