  • Question on PoP Quest Plate armor

I'm a paladin and was hoping to get some information on the quest smith armor. On this sight it says "No Fail" - Does that mean you dont have to have any skill in smithing to make this item? Also, does anyone have an idea as to how hard some of these pieces are to obtain? Any information would be much appreciated. Thanks,

    -Striatus

Correct. All Bor Wharhammer checks for is level not tradeskill level of *any* kind.

Sol Ro Tower have been dropping quite a few Ornate armors, though how much and of which piece I cannot say for sure.

Much of it can be gotten with single groups, in places like Bastion of Thunder(off the mini-bosses) and Plane of Tactics, for example.

Striatus you will have to at least know a smith and a brewer each with a modified skill of 220+ to get the ornate plate armor.

Although the end combine is no fail the sub combines are not, you will either have to buy the sheets of ethereal Energy or have someone make them for you.

The Smith will need a brewer of 220 or better to make the ethereal temper.

Check the bazaar. Many people sell ethereal temper and ethereal sheets of metal for just such a purpose.

It only has to be 220 modified for the brewing & smithing combine so someone at 210 + 5% mod would be fine doing the combines for you.
