Does anybody know if small pieces of MQ ore drops from mobs or is a conversion possible like fine steel wp to HQ ore?

Medium Quality ore follows the same rules for combining/splitting as normal ore and High Quality ore - so you can combine smaller bits to make larger bricks and blocks, and you can split up blocks into bricks and then into smaller pieces with a chisel...

But, I've never heard of MQ ore in any form being a drop from any mob. You can't get it by melting down weapons and I've never heard of it turning up in a forage table from anywhere.

So your only method left for getting hold of it is to boost your CHA as much as you can and fork out the cash to a vendor

No, MQ ore does not drop from a mob. Nor are there any MQ ore conversions like with regular or HQ ore.

        Farm cash.
