  • Bar or brick

Quick question which no one seems to know and I can't find an answer to. Some things call for bar's of immaculate steel. Are they wrong and they mean bricks? I have never seen bars, only bricks. Or are they just super rare? Thanks and if this was asked before I couldn't find it and I apoligixe in advance.

It's the same item, just probably have the wrong word in the recipe.

This is a bit confusing because there are two items:

        Brick of Immaculate Steel

        and

        Enchanted Bar of Immaculate Steel.

The latter is made through smithing. Place a Vial of Purified Mana and a Brick of Immaculate Steel in a Tanaan forge. Result is one Enchanted Bar of Immaculate Steel; trivial is 176, I believe.

The naming convention is confusing, but it appears consistent. There are a couple of other planar metals that have a name change from "brick" to "bar" when you enchant them (like bloodmetal, valorium, molten ore, etc.).
