I am getting to a point of attempting these combines. In an effort to fund my furhtering smithing skills, are there specific pieces that seem to sell better than others in the bazaar?

Selling Heraldic

Well stick to Fierce and Luminant varieites for starters. Always demand for those two types, I never had any long term problems selling them.
Legs are good sellers, its pretty hard even at a raiding level to acquire decent legs, I also find there to be good demand for shoulder and wrist slots. The culteral wrists are just flat out good, and I find there isn't much competition in the shoulder slot department either.
One good rule of thumb is to compare it to what someone could attain with Velious armor quests from ToV. For example, the culteral boots are just flat out better then the armor quests for the most part, so I find I tend to sell a lot of those fast. I tend to avoid making belt and cloaks, due to competition from dropped cloaks like the Heiro cloak, and also a lot of decent dropped belts commonly available.
However in the end I have sold just about every piece of Luminant and Fierce I put up for sale eventually, so don't worry too much about it.

Aye, Fierce and Heraldic are forms of hte Imbued armor. Each different Imbue will name the set.

Yep, the different imbues are given different names.
Fierce is the Rallos imbue. It sells well cause its available to any race that can worship Rallos, and has pretty good hitpoints and melee stats making it some of the best buyable armor for a tank. Its also pretty commonly known about now, so almost all warriors seem to worship Rallos now so they can wear this stuff. Always people looking to buy this stuff, only downside is tends to be more competition in selling this stuff, at least on Povar, so you have to deal with undercutters.
Luminant is the Mith Marr imbue. It sells well cause Frogs can wear it, and since all frogs worship Mith Marr you got a nice market there. Also very nice cause many of the frogs, (at least on Povar) are twinks of high level characters and such are able to afford such pricy armor. Also a strong amount of humans that worship Mith Marr, buncha sissy paladins and do gooder clerics who like that whole "valiant fight evil" thing, so you got a pretty strong market share too also. I also found there to be less competiton in this, usually when I put up Luminant for sale I am the only one selling it, so you need to worry about undercutters less.
In general, I try to make about an equal amount of each, for sale, tho I tend to lean more toward Luminant as I have to deal with less competition there.

Mikel, are you able to imbue one of the two gems for the Fierce and Luminant? I know some have been able to get all the mass imbues now, but where did you get the imbued gems to make the armor before the patch? Were you able to find the supply you needed in the bazaar?
Sorry for the rapid fire questions.

I'll send ya a PM with an answer to that Lilosh.
Hobbun- I don't really remember seeing a lot of imbued gems in the bazaar. I simply cultivated some friends able to imbue, (human cleric for Mith Marr and Ogre Shaman for Rallos) and got the gems when I needed them. Keep in mind I am my friends are Level 65 so was pretty easy for them to imbue what I wanted fast with no stress on their mana pools. I haven't really done any smithing since the mass imbues were put in. Jades are a pretty cheap gemstone, and I got my diamonds for Mith Marr imbue by exping in PoP zones, (Crypt of Decay was great for gem drops)
Really, when I was into the tradeskill market I relied a lot on friends and guildmates to do the imbueing/enchanting stuff needed, rather then buy the components in the bazaar. Whether that would be practical for you I dunno.

Thanks for the detailed response, Mikel. I don't have friends at 65 that can imbue them for me, but I do have a guild members that would potentially be able to do so. Something I will have to talk to them about.
As for how practical it is buying them in bazaar, it would depend on how much they went for.
Thanks again for the response.
