Which of the Elemental Planes would you farm smithing ?

Say with a single group, which would you say is the easiest to farm smithing components with?

If you looking for the best stuff most people would agree the PoW smithed stuff is the best because it has the most hps. Of corse PoW is one of those zones everyone loves to hate. As far as the mob difficulty goes i have no clue really since I've only ever done them in raid situations.


The earth stuff isn't bad and has mr on it which is nice IMO. Earth is also probably the easiest one to farm. Can get all the drops needed sitting at zone in. Probably the one I'd recommend.


Air is pretty much a no go for single group farming. Possible but not really practical. Spiders are nasty. The green spawns spawning on the first island.


Fire is possible but the golems needed for some of the components are a bit on the nasty side and can quad for over 1k a hit. One group doable definitely but rather nasty.

Getting deep enough to get some of the water components is quite difficult for one group.

Earth or Fire are one group doable.

Air and Water have better armor.

We do Water one group, it's not easy though. If you only have 1 cleric as healer, you will have downtime even with a 10k hp tank. Luckily, you get all the materials for crab legs, smithed/tailoring armor, and bows all in the same spot!
