You don't have to worship Bristlebane to be able to make the armor, just to wear it! Of course, you have to find a cleric of bristlebane (29th level or higher) to imbue your jem for you...Balkin Ironfist (Ominous Deeds)

Bristlebane is Halfling and Gnome Cleric only as far as I know. The armor is only wearable by them also so your market could be relatively small.Comment
