I am currently working on my multi-skills for my 8th Shawl quest. Money is always a concern since I am working on raising my Tailoring and Fletchings skills also. Question is What is the cheapest way to obtain a 188 skill in Smithing. I am currently skill lvl 30 and searching for some wisdom and knowledge from my peers.

I would suggest doing a search on this message board for The Economical Smith. Very nice guide. Or, head on over to the Learn a Skill button on the main page and select smithing, several guides listed there for your perusal.
