  • Heraldic Armor

It would appear by this site that ONLY Human smiths (and only at the Qeynos cultural forge) can create Fine Heraldic armor that is not deity specific. Is this actually the case? Is my barbarian smith doomed to only create items for other barbarians?

    Thanks for your replies

Yes, im afraid he is. ONLY human can create Heraldic armor, just like ONLY barbarians can create Helanic Tundra armor.

No, for example I'm pretty sure a half elf worshiping Tribunal can wear your stuff.

        Enthno-centric

Doesn't that seem rathar ethno-centric of Verant?
        RANT COMING!
So Qeynos humans can make gear for all plate class wearers. Everybody else in game can only make the stuff for their race. For SHAME!

Humans can only make armor for Humans, Barbarians and Half Elves. The only exception to this is Fierce Heraldic. Heraldic armor in general is the Humans cultural armor, so why would another race be able to make it?

i think there should be a armor barbarians can make that a rallos zek diety can wear. each race should be able to make armor for the dieties available to that race.

I once had TWO tribunal worshipping half-elf bards buy Tundra Helanic Cloaks.... spooky!

It's prompted me to start a bard twink so I can make some armor for him to wear!

                  Well of the barbarian cultural:

The non-imbued northman ringmail can be worn by any race and class of chainmail or plate wearers.

The imbued northman ringmail and all other barbarian cultural can be worn by non-barbarians, as long as they follow the Tribunal. But bards are the only non-barbarians that can follow Tribunal, so your market outside of barbarians is pretty limited for those.

But you still have a bigger market than an iksar, hehe, our cutural armor can't be worn by a single non-iksar.

Human cultural is the most versatile (can be worn by the most races besides the one that made it) but most other races have at least one other race that can wear their cultural armor besides themselves. Only exception to that is iksar, as far as I know.

And yes, only humans can make fine heraldic.

Well, gnome cultural armor can only be worn by gnomes. (tinkered, not smithed)
