How much to enchant adamantite

I've about got my smithing high enough to try some of the Teir'Dal Adamantite Plate for my Cleric and was wondering how much people offer to get adamantite enchanted.

I personally have a pocket enchanter who will do it for free /hugs Mythreal, but I see people on Prexus offering 10pp per brick/block/whatever for enchanting done. I think if you ask nicely, most enchanters who arent busy would be willing to do it for you for next to nothing or free. Especially if you bring them something of value to them, like I bring Myth Glittering Rings I find on merchants.

I standardly pay 10pp per brick, and then either give them the spell or 50pp on top of that. My standard load is about 18-20 bricks.

Some people pay less, some people pay more, but it takes so much time, I feel like I'm "cheating" the enchanter as it is, I don't see how I could really pay any less :P

Thanks for the reply. 10pp sounds like a good minimum offer for the time and mana needed to do it.
Hopeing to have my own enchanter sometime that I can enchant it with. I've run one up to 29 so far for the clarify mana spell for making my combine acrylia temper and for pottery.

I wouldn't enchant adamantium for 10pp a large brick.

Then again, you couldn't pay enchanters money to enchant the stuff which is why I levelled mine.

Found an enchanter to enchant some for me for 10pp and found out something I didn't know. You can't enchant blocks has to be large bricks then I have to make the blocks.
Guess I should have researched it more before I went and bought all those blocks. atleast I didn't lose much when selling the blocks back to the vender to buy large bricks.
Sense she was nice about it and waited until I went and exchanged the blocks for bricks I paid her 15pp instead of the agreed 10pp price.

That's more than just a little bit though; by the time you get them high enough to enchant adamantium, you might as well just treat them as a regular character to play full time, which they practically are.

I got my chanter to 29 to help with pottery, but doubt I'd be too interested in enchanting for 10pp a brick/block. Thought that's probably what I would try to pay. Running all the way to third gate in Neriak and then porting in and out and running if someone wants a large order and your bags fill(tradeskiller's bags are always full) is a lot to do for 10pp. You can make that much many times over just by doing a no-fail combine on celestial essence and selling it in the bazaar for 4 or 5 plat.

I'm an enchanter. I'm pretty hard core about tradeskills.

I know what a pain it can be to find an enchanter to enchant metal for you.

I usually answer all the /ooc and /shout requests for someone to enchant metal.

Price varies. If you're nice, and it's only a few pieces, I might just do it for free. Especially if I know you and like you. I'f you're rude, fail to say "thank you" or otherwise abuse me or my time, you'll never get my services again.

Tipping is nice. Since I skill too, I'm pretty broke much of the time. Tipping generously once or twice is a sure way to make sure I'll be happy to see you again, and maybe even get you on my "enchant some stuff for free" list.

Remember, you're asking the enchanter to give up their time, mana, and effort to help you. Time they could spend leveling, working on their own projects, or watching TV. Treat them fairly. Or don't expect them to enchant your metal. :P

I always pay 20pp per brick. It takes 325 mana to enchant a brick, so 20 bricks can take a long time and leaves the chanter out of mana. I normally auction in PoK "Want to buy the services of an Enchanter who can enchant X bricks of Adamantite. Paying 20pp per brick. PST". I pay the same for shaman to imbue Amber or Sapphires.

I used to pay 1k for an hour or 2 hours of chanting bricks of mithril + spell (most people didn't have it). Figured if I paid well I could get repeat performance out of them till I could lvl up to 49. Was very painful when I was trying to skillup on old cultural vs new culteral.
