elf blood farming?

Where are the best places to farm elf blood for us ogre smifs? dwarf and human seem readily available on vendors and npcs, but never elf.

I hear the prisoners in Crushbone are a good source of blood.

If you're concerned about your faction (killing them wrecks faction with the good races on Faydwer), then you can kill the bandits in GFay instead. You should be relatively safe there as afaik, the guards never path by the camp.

You might also be able to do the Nybright sisters in LFay, although I don't know if they drop blood or not.

The best place for volume is the wood elf ranger island in
timorous deep.

It is a fantastic place for elf blood, since you have far more spawns than at those small bandit camps. Only one type of elf at those camps drops the elf blood, while ALL the timorous rangers drop it. The same is true of CB, only one type of elf drops elf blood and you also have dwarves filling their spots sometimes.

Bonus for the timorous ranger area= it has a beta neutral vendor that you don't lose faction with while killing the elves (another vendor is on elf factions) So evils can sell the various drops to this vendor. I think the elves are all green by level 25.

The best part is that no one else EVER goes all the way out there to kill them, so it is quite relaxing.

The sisters in OOT also drop blood and the money is good. Two drops a 10pp sword and they all drop a 1pp belt.
Seven named spawns on 6 minute timers and there around level 25.

2 in the main building, 2 in the small hut towards AC island, 1 at the tree near the dock, 1 at the end of the dock and 1 to the right of the dock if you have the dock to you back.

Standing with your back to the dock the small hut on the right you will want to stay away from. There is a high level sister is in that hut and is mean.

Funny how much this varies by server. I can always count on Vendors and/or the Bazaar to give up plentiful elf blood on Veeshan, but can't get Dwarven blood to save my life.

Gave up on cultural as a skill up route, the time it would take to farm 200 Dwarven bloods was just ridiculous.

You can also find it plentifully in Gunthak. I have also found it for sale at the vendors in the lighthouse.

Do not forget that Dark Elves drop Elf blood too. I got a lot of Elf blood on Dulak ships, especially Windscorn. Iksar blood drops there too, in quantity.

Dulak is a fantastic place to get Elf Blood.. in about 3 weeks of casual gaming (and im there for Exp, not pharming) I have probably 80 Elf Bloods banked. The Vendors in the area (at lighthouse) also are a good source.

Add to all of that the Gem drops (Saphires for free! Blue Diamonds for free!) and this place is a Smith's dream come true... now if only something else dropped Essence of shadow
