Seru Bane changed to 135?

I was told it was about 175 or so, but friend said that he combine at 135 skill and it said trivial. Is this true? I'm at 135 right now, so was hoping I can do a combine soon. Thanks. 8)

The trivial on these has never been very well nailed down. Back before the trivial changes pretty much everyone who did the combine got up to 175 because it was relatively cheap and easy to get your smithing up that high and the components needed are a PINA to gather and the sheets have a very high fail rate. No one wanted to risk failing by trying at a lower skill.
Since the change in smithing trivials several reports have come out of trying it a lower skill and getting the trival msg. I have never seen any report of the weapon not being trivial since the components are so hard to get.

As far as I know it could be trivial at some rediculously low level like 20 and we just don't know because the recipe is such a pain that no one has tried it with skill that low.

As far as 135 goes thats the lowest I've read of anyone trying it at and it was reported as trivial so you should be fine there.

I *think* 127 was the lowest any of our people did it at and got the trivial message. Not positive but I think that's right. So glad they changed the trivials a few weeks after most of our people got theirs made with the 175 trivial=P
