I've been farming geonids for the 8th shawl, and it's become clear that I'm going to end up with a LOT of extra unrefined diamonds. (Five of my first six shimmering geonids dropped diamonds. That rate hasn't continued, buit I'd be a bit surprised if I don't get at least one or two more before I'm done...) Barring an unusually high number of trivial failures, I should have several extras when all is said and done.
So I was wondering how well the Engraved Royal Velium BP and greaves sold these days. I found a post from several months ago that indicated that they were selling for 4.5 to 5k each on two separate servers. I'm fully aware that this is going to be very server-dependent, but is this roughly consistent with what people are still seeing? I'd be more than happy to just buy the velium hound fur if the end product is still likely to sell well, but at the moment, the 600 to 1k pp per fur is a bit steep for me if it's going to sit a long time.
These pieces seem to hardly ever show up in the E'ci bazaar, so I can't get a really good idea from the local market (though on the plus side, that means that I shouldn't face much competition
).
