Cultural Prices on your server

I'm not sure if this is the correct place for this post, so feel free to move it if it is not.

A couple of posts in other threads brought this to mind, and also my own experience. If people would post prices for various types of cultural armour, and for each piece, in the bazaar, on their server. It might be interesting to see how the prices vary from server to server, and to let smiths know what to expect to earn for their hard earned skillups.

Unfortunately, I'm at work right now but I'll write up the Ogre Cultural for AB when I get home, and any other cultural I can spot in the bazaar.

The 51 AC BD Cultural BPs go for a minimum of 15k on Saryrn, and I have seen them for 20k from time to time.

I charge 5k / sheet for Ogre cultural on Dru Ro.

As of like the last month I recently started makeing items for sale on a baz mule. I dont vary the costs per item as my cost to make for each each item per sheet remains constant.

What I dont do is make items that have comprable items that sell often or can be MQ`d for cheaper - Ie Gaunts

Usually I try a and keep a stock of bracer x 2 for each diety and then 1 each of boots, collar, visor, arms, greaves, breastplate, pauldrons, belt etc. I also try and keep them stocked in that order. If I sell items such as bracers or boots etc before I have any pauldrons or belts made, I then make those first and restock them. Basucally I try and keep what seems to be the best sellers stocked and work my way down the line.

As of yet and a month in messing with occasional stocking - I am just starting to get around to pauldrons. Plus Ive picked up sporadic orders from time to time outside of the mule.

There are a couple GM ogre smiths on Dru Ro, and I think possibly 2 others who use a baz mule to sell. Prices are pretty much the same. Others seem to vary prices per item, but I dont like to mess with it.

Yes, that helps me. I've been only making the Crimson pieces, so on my next run I will look into making the other deity's pieces. I've found bracers sell very well, even when I had them at 12K, so maybe I'll put a pair of Fulvous and Blackened into the mix.

On Veeshan, the high elf cultural sells 5k for one sheet, 8k for two and 11k for 3. I can't speak about the other cultural prices.

On Rallos id say if you can get 2k per a sheet consider yourself lucky

Ive seen dark prince regent bracers down to 1500 (cause someone inflated the market with lots of them)

Ive sold a cloak for 6k. But this stuff takes WEEKS to move and just isn't worth it anymore imho

Rallos has a different economy because of the item loot rule.

It's not that other servers are overpriced or Rallos is cheap, but droppable armour has much less utility on Rallos, making it 'worth' less.

I only make to order. Not a lot of competition on Quellious, either, which helps.

I'll generally charge 8-9k/sheet for one item, dropping to 7k/sheet for two or more items, 6500pp or so for 3 or more ("well, it's 9k for one bracer, or 14k for two with the volume discount"). I also tell people who have bought two or more items from me to remind me what they've gotten from me next time they need a piece, so that they will get the volume/repeat customer discount with that order as well. I hate like going to the forge to make just one item, unless it's for a friend. This seems to encourage multi-piece orders and repeat customers. <grin>

On those few cases I do have something on a mule (someone hasn't picked up their order generally), BPs will sell for 18-20k generally, two-sheet items for 12-14k, and bracers for 8-9k. Can take awhile to move, but I'd rather not set a low price that may get quoted back at me for smithing orders.

Note that prices depend a lot on the cultural market. There is a lot of "aftermarket" Fierce Heraldic on Quellious - warriors who have gotten better dropped stuff, wanting to unload what they have at almost any price. When players tell me that that greaves should be only 11k because soandso is selling his at that price, I gently explain the Fierce Heraldic market to him, that I don't try to comepete with aftermarket sales, and tell him that he is perfectly welcome to wait for some aftermarket Blackened Darkscale or whatever to pop up - and ask him how many Inny trolls he knows who wear the stuff to begin with.

Of course, I have that luxury due to the low number of ogre smiths on the server. You may not have that luxury, which will affect pricing accordingly.

I entered the Heraldic Armor market on Quellious this weekend and sold my stock in a few hours time.
3 Fierce Heraldic BP's at 18k each (3/3 btw - the first three combines :shock: )
8 Fierce Heraldic Bracers at 6k each
1 Fine Heraldic Bracer at 6k
They just flew out of my bags. I have 30 more royal tempers and am going to make a whole lot more real soon. I might even raise the price at this rate

I've seen dwarven stuff as low as 3k per sheet on Morell-Thule. Usually the prices are 5k-8k per ring/sheet for most of the armors. 10k per sheet/ring is rare anymore (BPs, legs).

My ogre Roca dinged 250 smithing last week!!, although my economy isnt that good to make culturals atm.

I manage to do a Crimson Darscale Breasplate and 3 tae shields, hope ill recover some money to do something for myself.

Terror plate worths the value to do for those agnostic ppl out there?

Last night, I saw the non-imbued Regent Gauntlets on sale for 5k. Saw someone else selling the Dark Prince Regent Bracer for 20k :shock:

I think the general rule of thumb has been 5k/sheet of BD imbued. How much are people charging for the BD non-imbued per sheet?
