Skill Bumps on Ethereal Bricks

Ok, I finally got the +10% blacksmithing Massive Girlde of the Forge, so I wanted to skill up on the ethereal brick combines.

My stats:
65th Ogre Warrior
280 STR
200 blacksmithing skill
+10% blacksmithing Massive Girlde of the Forge


I went from 200 --> 212 on the ethereal bricks. I did about 110 combines making the ethereal rings since it only required one brick. I got all 12 skill bumps on those 110 combines.

I also was successful on almost all the combine attempts. I also got 5 bumps in the first 10 attempts. Thank god for the RNG (at least this time)

ethereal seems to give a lot of skillups.

I only was able to do the standard two points with geerlok, but it took a total of seven combines. I have not previously, or since, had that kind of success, post 188.

I have the Hammer of the Ironfrost from XtC, with a 15% mod, and went from 192-212 on EE bricks. It took me approximately 40 stacks, as I was just under 1 skillup per 40 combines. 310 int.

This is about par for the course for me, 1 in 40. The runs of rapid skillups are more than compensated for by the long, long runs with none. But I tend to do very large batches, so who knows, maybe that's a bad idea.

Anyone that can do more then the standard 2 points should never complain in my opinion cause i'm sure their points went faster with EE then any other method :P
My 2 points went very fast.

Believe me, I'm not complaining at all. I was just more posting so other people had some idea about the bump rates.
